Question for whim owners

I've got the Sena 20s-based system. After a few attempts at configuration for my personal use as well as with my wife, I've decided to disconnect from the Boom completely. Headsets are no longer paired to the bike. This works best for me in terms of functionality and ease of use.
We use the native Sena bluetooth intercom functionality, including 3-way connecting with an additional bike/rider (our son) - works flawlessly.
We connect individually to our phones for music / telephone use. Simplified and pain free.

The Whim module should allow you the same functionality with bluetooth heasdsets as we have with the plug in headsets, at least as far as I understand- I don't have the Whim or wireless headsets yet but I am looking into it for the upcoming riding season.
That said, If you pair your wireless headsets to the Whim module, your VOX functionality for talking rider to passenger should work. Speak into the microphone and it should open the intercom between rider and passenger- whatever is playing in the background (music, etc...) would go to the background.
Don't know if you can pair the wireless headsets to each other- skipping the pairing with the Whim module, and have any kind of VOX. I suppose that would depend on the functionality of the specific headsets.
The HD Branded Sena 20s, are supposed to be optimized for the Whim module.

Music aside, the intercom / communication feature is automatic, including voice activation. Once configured, the units actively connect and you're good to go.

Must have been in the last few days. I just updated mine a few days ago and the latest version was 1.0.2
I wonder what's included in the new update?
On edit, you be correct. I just checked and there is a new update 1.1.4. Just downloaded it to my laptop.

It seems the WHIM 1.1.4 version is for both pre and post 2019 systems it picks what your needs when you run it.
1.0.2 had been the current whim for some time now.
1.1.4 does not seem to have effected anything I did use it just sitting outside.

Using the Senas paired, not connecting to the bike at all, you can either set them to allow VOX activation to talk or use the big intercom button on the side to connect. We use the "push the button" to start/stop a conversation setting. Very easy to push, even with gloves on.
