I am. I doing that because the application downloaded file is version 1.7.7 and the direct downloaded file is 2.0, of course I want the 2.0.

I believe the update file for the Boom 20s, is mislabeled. When I try to use the updater, that it says I have current software 1.7.7 and when I browse to find the new software, it shows as being for the 30k.

I called HD customer care yesterday and they said it is mislabeled. 20s is 1.7.7

If whim was factory installed the Port for WHIM is under the seat. If it was installed by dealer it is under right side cover. It is not the one used for you USB drive that has your music on it. Picture of WHIM Port.

I was having the same problem as you are trying to install the new Whim update. To fix it connect the Whim to your laptop and go to the Windows device list, the WHIM is listed as a serial device, click to update the driver for the device and then start over with the update process. Mine worked like a champ after the driver update. I’m using Windows 10. Hope this helps you out, I was about to give up this did indeed resolve the install/update issue.
