This video compares the Ciro Vision X Headlight, Harley Damaker and Kury Phase 7. You'll see that the Ciro Vision X is the best and brightest with a lifetime warranty. You can buy it here: https://www.ciro3d.com/product-subca...x-led-lighting

I have the JW Speaker adaptive and it does its job quite well in turns. I have the first version without active on high beam which I never use anyway.

Isn't it refreshing to see that people toss their commentary into threads despite their contribution having zero relevance to the originally posted request for info? It's almost as useful as the folks that comment about how they "hate" or would "never use" the item(s) that were originally asked about! I guess its fair game, but it IS possible to just THINK stuff and not actually type it out.

To reiterate: I LIKE my 8790A v1 headlight- but I'd really like to see some comparison to the Daymaker Adaptive. I'm still curious about the light pattern in the lean that the Daymaker should provide, and if it's brighter than the fill that the JW Speaker provides.

Can’t blame the dude for trying to sell his product where he sees an opportunity. Idk how much weight I put in Urlacher’s review in that video. He’s sponsored by Ciro, so it’s not like he’s gonna trash their stuff.

I have the Speaker adaptive headlight in my 17 Street Glide and it works great. It’s the only light on the bike (no spots) and I can see perfectly through the corners.

Now there's a constructive review. Just need for the price to be cut in half and I'll buy one.

i get you but, I figured the headlight is cheaper than hitting something and hurts less.

If I knew the HD version was as good (or better), I'd sell you my 8790A for a good price!

Realistically, I saw on Dennis Kirk that the JW Speaker 8790A is on closeout (this is the V1 model that doesn't allow the adaptive functionality with high beam). The one I linked to DOES NOT include the mounting ring- it shouldn't be necessary on a Rushmore batwing though (I didn't need it, I know that much). Even the 8790 Adaptive 2 (the new version- uses the adaptive with both low and high beams) is a lot cheaper than the HD Adaptive.
