Default Rear tribar light delete?

Anyone with a rgs or sgs delete the rear fascia and Tri-Bar lights to run lights like an ultra or road king? Is it possible without throwing a code?

Also would like to rid of the turn/brake lights and clean that section off with just the license plate.

Just unplug it and find out. Probably not an issue.

I deleted mine on my old road glide and just kept the standard lights. The tribar plugs into the brake light module so I had to make a cover.

Nope. I want as much light as possible in the rear of the bike. Safety over style for me.

its not just for style. I guarantee that filler panel light like a cvo would be way better than three dim lines

You would be surprised; a buddy has a CVO Road King and those lights are not as bright as you would think.

it would prolly be aftermarket lights. I’m fond of ciro3d’ filler panel lights

Adam Sandavol just posted a video of installing this. Pretty neat.

My advise like above is keep the tri-bar and make it LED. I used Bullet Ringz and LED tribar from Custom Dynamics, a sponsor here. I added the Arlen Ness facia. Fills out better and keeps the light.

I bought the lights that go between the saddlebags and the fender. I kept the light at the bottom of the fender and the license plate light (has a stoplight in it also). It's illegal to not have the plate illumination in most states I would think. The keystone (?) lights between the bags and the fender are not really as obvious as I wanted so I also bought the airwing light bars for the saddlebag lid. I would say most drivers know that I'm stopping and/or turning. The fender on my RK had dimples that supported the light bar so the fender had to be re-worked. The lines of the fender are a bit tricky in this area... on an RK. Don't know about a glide.
