Saddleman Road Sofa LS Extended Reach
Looking at seat options and hate to buy something without trying it first. Any feedback on the new Saddleman Road Sofa LS Extended Reach? I measured my current seat and the seating position front to back seems very similar but the RS would set me up about an inch. Going on a ‘19 RGCVO.. Thought about the CVO Hammock but it sets me to close to the tank.
Any feedback would be appreciated, Thanks.

I have a Saddlemen LS slim on my 2018 SGS. The seat sets you back about 1-1/2" but raises the seat about the same. It was very noticeable when riding and kinda bummed me out. I'm 5-10 and the Saddlemen seat is too tall a riding position and changes the feel to being on top of the bike instead of in the bike when you're riding along. Overall I'm not impressed with the seat and am actually selling it to but the CVO style seat from HD catalog. Those CVO seats are super comfy, ride low in the bike and are perfect for me. Hope this helps.

I was looking for an extended seat for my 15 FLTRXS as I am 6'3". I was really looking at the Road Sofa LS Extended, but finally found a place that let me demo it on my bike. First thing I didn't like was there were some gaps that were present that allowed the frame to show some, so the fit wasn't spot on. But most importantly, the seat was BRUTALLY hard! I took it for a 35 min ride and I was begging to get off the thing. It did sit me back, but it was just too hard. They say it takes a couple thousand miles to break in, but I wasn't willing to spend that much to find out. I had a C&C Solo seat that was hard, but it was actually comfortably hard (difficult to explain).
I ended up with a LePera Maverick Daddy Long Legs, and I absolutely LOVE it! Sits be back and down, the backrest is fantastic and it looks better too. Only downside is the passenger area is a little smaller, so if your lady is bigger, it might be an issue.
