Default Civilized Slipons?

After a 300 mile ride this weekend, I'm starting to think the Neighbor Haters are a little loud for me with the drone in the full face at highway speeds. Ears were ringing for several hours afterwards, and that was with ear plugs. I don't want to run the stock slip-ons and still want a deep, mellow rumble, but something that will fade into the background at highway speeds. Suggestions?

Find a set that has replaceable baffles, Rush Performance makes some.

Street cannons were just right for me. Not a sewing machine. Not a RedStone Rocket. What is nice is that they don't growl at low RPMs. Throaty but not nerve shattering

I agree with SpringerRider on the Street Cannons. And since your signature indicates you have 2018's, you might care about them not creating a warranty issue.

I really like my Vance&Hines High Outputs, can ride 10-12 hours and no ringing in my ears (I ride with a Half Helmet and no ear plugs).

Same here. They do open up a bit after 1,000 miles or so, and sound good when you get on it, but are nice and quiet when just cruising or leaving your neighborhood in the morning.

Of course you do lose your Harley pirate status,,,

You sound just like me after bolting on some VH Twin Slash...too loud. Went to VH Monster Ovals... perfect for me.
