Removing my Wild ONe 579's for Twin Peak 10"
Ok, so I have tried the WO579-B for the past 2 months, rode them 1500 + miles and they are just a little too wide for me.
I ordered Twin Peaks 10" Black today so I will be swapping the WO's out.... much like seats i guess, Handlebars are subjective :-)
Gotta find mirrors next but I guess I'll wait to try the TP's first

Good luck getting the fit and feel that is right for you.
Yes the Wild Ones are wide. I for one like them a lot. Had WO578’s on my 2016. The most comfortable for me period. Traded to a 2017 and the wife wanted the meat hook style. So after research I went with the Yaffe 10 inch monkey bars. The wrist angle is not as good for me as the 578’s but still okay. But they just felt wrong. The solution for me was to go up to 12 inch. Yes like you I switched out bars within a year. I’m a pro at it now.
Look forward to hearing how it worked out for you.

Well, I got them installed and took a short ride, very rainy this weekend, going to have to get used to them after riding the low Wild One handlebars.
I like the height and wrist angle, this was immediately more comfortable for my feel..., but the turn lock either way is a stretch, but, I'll get used to them I expect...

Ok soooo... fired up the bike yesterday and got a couple of TPS codes, lECM 1510, 2122 & 2138.... and this boys and girls, is how most of my projects go, if they go easy with no issues, I consider myself thankful and more so just lucky.
So, I Looked up what the issue is and apparently the older style of TPS is the culprit, I have checked the green connector and all of the pinouts and everything ohm's out and the pins are in the correct position on the 6-pin connector... so pulled everything out and looked for chafing and there was none, I shrink wrapped all of the wiring to reduce the size of the bundle,,, after checking it all out and verifying the it was all good, I cleared the codes and hooked it all up again, and the codes popped up again.....
The Twin Peaks is the 3rd set of handlebars the Throttle Sensor has been installed in, including the stock handlebars then..the Wild Ones sooooo.... I pulled the wiring out and will install a new TPS sensor and harness, I am not going to take any chances and apparently there is a new version of the of the TPS according to the Harley part number info.
Of course my local HD dealership has none of what I need in stock, so no riding until next weekend, parts will be here wednesday or thursday.
Finally, Happy Fathers Day to all of the Fathers :-)

well, since I's curious and board ,,, I figured out why the codes popped up,,, BOTH white wires in the green connector were not engaged in the green connector and they pushed out when the green connector was snapped together,,, they have that little spring loaded metal tab / snap clip protrusion on the metal connector pin and not of the white wires did not have the little clip on it, which tells me that they had a bad batch of connectors or or someone pulled to much on the two white wires during assembly, I say that because it was the two white wires only, on opposite sides of the plug.
So I cut them and will solder them, and test it again..... if it works, it will save be 4100 for the TPS and cable..
