Default Rear fender license plate bracket

I have read through other posts regarding this issue but most of them were pretty old so I was wondering if anyone came up with a new solution.

2014 Limited, installed Tour Pak detahc kit and used license plate bracket that came with kit. Didnt like the way it stood up so I followed a you toobers video and snapped off the tabs to rotate the bracket to put it below the tailight.
This required me to buy a new taillight with a bottom window and the end result looked the way I wanted so I was happy.

Problem is that I cannot get the bracket conform to the curve under the taillight so it rattles.
At first I didnt notice but when I finally did, now thats all I hear.

Looking to put a curved license plate bracket, under the tailight without requiring me to drill holes. Wont need a light because I bought the bottom window taillight.

Has anyone found anything that works?

Thanks.

When I installed the detachable kit, I ended up bending the license plate bracket so it lays down at the same angle as the rear of the saddlebags. It was better than the billboard look.

I haven't seen anything new in that department. Can you post a photo of what your setup looks like? Also, whose taillight with the bottom window did you use?

I just went ahead and did it the right way. Bought the bracket and took it to my friendly neighborhood body shop for him to drill the holes and paint it. Tried messing around like you did. Wasn’t worth it.

I did something similar then I placed an Air Wing luggage rack over it to make it less noticeable. I’m happy with the results.

I have been looking at posts and this may be an option if I can figure out the exact part number that will work.
