I got my CYCLESMITHS CHROME 13" FAT APE BARS HANDLEBARS in today and tried to put them on. I took the old bars off, with the help of HD Forums, and started moving the wires from one set to another. Low and Behold, The new bars are too thick! You believe that? The inside measurements of the old bars are right 7/8". The inside diameter of the new bars are only 3/4" Nothing will fit. they are suppose to be for 08 and above bikes. Has anyone else run into this and have a fix? Or do I just send the bars back and get some others? I'm at my wits end.

 

Never mind. I'm sending them back to get a different set. Thanks any way. I'll try and post installation pics.
