Default Remove heated grips?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the HD stock heated grips on a 2014 Ultra Limited? Once the switch housing is apart and grip is loose how do you disconnect to be able to slide them out? All I'm trying is to replace them with HD chrome ones but the directions that came with new ones are bad. Need like a step by step if anyone has.

Thanks!

You have to remove handle bars to get wiring out and I think the chrome grip wiring goes out side. You may want to talk to someone in parts dept.and make sure that chrome grips can be installed on Your bike or there is enough room in switch housing for grip wiring? Assuming they are heated grips.
Heated hand grip power connector is inside fairing below radio.

I'd wait until they fail, then let the dealer replace them with the chrome ones under warranty.

You won't have to wait long.
