Does the stock derby cover have the o-ring or the big paper gasket?

 

My guess would be a O-Ring.

 

It has the big rubber band.

 

Harley hasnt used the oem paper gasket for many years. the part number on that is a 98 or 99 part number I think. You will only need a paper one if you put an replacement accessory one on.

 

rubber on the stock cover but paper if you buy an add on derby cover,,,,,,,,,,, I buy 2 paper ones when I do the 1000k on mine just in case you need it later (they are cheap but suck to have to go back to store to get
