When the radio is on and I switch from key on position to just acc the speakers front and back quit, but the radio is still playing my USB music or fm etc (physically see 6.5gt screen & music bar moving). I've got boom audio amp and speakers installed as well. Shouldn't the speakers be playing music while ignition is in acc mode?

 

I would say yes I haven't upgraded yet but it plays fine in ACC position. Wonder if the amp isn't hooked up correctly . The amp doesn't have power in ACC mode only ignition .

 

Is the amp receiving power in acc. position? I would start there.

The boom amp instructions say to hook switch power for amp to hidden antenna lead which is hot on acc mode. Installed one last weekend and does work in acc.

 

Yeah I have to agree on radio playing in Acc mode as mine does as well I have boom upgrade that was done by dealer.

I noticed my antenna isn't powered on acc mode. Must be it's hooked up wrong. I'll have the dealer look into it when it goes in for the boom speakers and amp.

 

The only other thing I can think of to check is the turn on lead, but it sounds like you found the issue.

 

I haven't found it yet. I talked to the service manager & am waiting for him to call me back. I've had the front fairing off, gas tank, seat etc, and have yet to notice anything out of the ordinary. The system is pretty much plug & play. The manager was going to see if there was something in the software needing to be turned on.
