No, it's not another oil thread, well maybe.
I know "search" is my friend but have you seen how many posts come back when you type the word "oil" into that search box?
I'm getting ready to do my 1000 mile service and I have a question about draining the engine oil....................NOT what type. lol
My old 08 Street Glide didn't have an oil cooler so it was a simple remove the drain plug, empty the crankcase, replace drain plug and filter and fill to correct level. I know it's not really possible to "completely" drain the crankcase but with the added oil cooler on the 2014 I suspect there will be quite a bit hiding in there.
Okay, here's the question; Any suggestions on how to get the oil out of the oil cooler when I do my oil change?
Thanks for any advice.

First, sorry not to answer your question, but the manual (p 142-143) does not say to drain the oil cooler when changing oil. When I have purchased used bikes in the past and have wanted to make sure I got out as much previous sludge/oil as possible, I've changed the oil with a cheap brand, run the engine for a while, drained it, then put in good oil.
