This is for you guys that can't stop tinkering and taking everything apart. I'm on a 14 FLHTCU with the 4.3 Infotainment.. The right side of the radio is the USB port and phone compartment. Whats behind the blank panel on the left side of the radio? I'm love to put a real cigarette light in there if there is room. The stock location is junk for a lighter. Note- this is for an actual lighter, not a power plug. I have plenty of power outlets, just no way to light my smokes!

 

On the limited's the CB is mounted there.

Quitting smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I've done it dozens of times!

 

Plenty of room there. Nothing behind the inner fairing with the smaller radio. I'm putting a USB port in the same location

This is mine, $30 HD part. couldn't get it centered, but works great

 

I would have liked to have seen a covered USB port here instead of the 12v plug on the right. I think quite a few folks prefer to mount their phone and/or GPS on the left side.

 

I'll be doing just that this coming week.

 

How did you get into there, thru the front?
