I pulled the plug on trading my 05 for a 14 ultra last week. I saw the colors for 15 and none of the colors did anything for me. I lean toward reds. So I got a candy orange 14. Last fall when the 14's came out I tried to trade then. But dealers would give me nothing for my 05. But now I got almost double what they offered last year. And the bike has another 5000 miles on it and another year older. They are cutting some deals.

Your checkbook = your decision...you make the call. Do we ask you which way to put the TP on roller?

You can get a good deal on a 14 right now. If you like it, buy it, but if they don't knock $2500 off MSRP go to a different dealer. There doing it in my part of the country without hesitation.

You had mentioned in the next month, the 15s will be out by then and you will have a better comparison at that time. Now unless you can get a smoking deal on a 14 I am not just talking a grand or something I mean a really good deal, then I would wait. It sounds like your not ready to buy today so time is on your side. JMO

Absolutely, positively no way in Hell I would buy a new bike before the 2015's are introduced on Monday.
You may feel differently.

Heard that this year is the last for Harley Gasoline powered bikes. Next year they are only available in Electric power.

Would wait till Monday, and visit your dealership to see what they would offer on a left over 14 vs ordering a 15. Make your decision then.

Even worse, liquid cooled electric motors.
