Default 15 RoadGlide test ride

Went to the dealer and rode the new RoadGlide. Although I will need the Ultra to fit my needs. I was very impressed with this bike. I found the stock handlebars comfortable and don't think I would change them out.
I currently ride a Batwing with 12 inch bars.
I was concerned because of faring difference but quickly learned to look beyond the faring when turning etc. Eased right into it.
Put hold money on the first CVO Ultra to hit the dealership

Would love to get a CVORGU but after looking at the numbers objectively I don't think it's a wise choice for me. Bought my '14 Limited in early May. I'll have to dance with the date I brought for a while longer.

My color choice was the black and orange one, can't remember the exact color names.

Rode one, liked it but the wind noise was bad drowned out the radio. Think it needs a better WS

Congrats on the the CVO, post some pics when you get her home. I keep thinking my next bike will be a CVO in a few years, but honestly don't know if I could justify the price to my other half...

I was not able to test ride the new road glide, but was able to sit on one. While I like the reach of the bars, I am concerned about the angle of your wrists. Will need a test ride.

I agree with the wrist angle. In my opinion Harley puts too much pullback into most of their bars giving us too much wrist angle. For me it makes maneuvering tight slow turns more difficult with the angle of the inside wrist.

I think the 2015 RG looks much better than previous years. I pick on RG owners telling them that even Harley knew it was "fugly" so they took the 2014 model year off and told their engineers to "fix it", lol!!

My opinion it is just a Street Glide with different fairing and handlebars.

I bought one on Friday and put over 500 miles on it this weekend. I too was concerned with the handle bar configuration but I must say that it is way more comfortable than it looks like it would be. The look and ride of this bike is phenominal. I am so happy I bought this bike. The only downside is that I got caught in the rain twice this weekend so now the bike is dirty. I think HD is going to sell a lot of these new Road Glides.

I have sat on two CVO RGU in the last week and found them very comfortable. The bar position seemed different on one of these from the other. Is the position moveable by the dealer? I ride a Ultra Limited and find the 10" bars most comfortable on it but felt very similar to the RGU bars.
