lets see the Apes!

I'm 5'10 as well... and as far as wiring, try wiring a set of the Pist apes! Talk about a beech!!I think I lost 5 years of my mental state on those! I had to re-do one side twice because the wires got cut or tore the coating off because of the weld splatter or something inside of the bars and the sharp bends! I ended up getting a guitar string and sticking it in the bars and it worked perfect for pushing and pulling the wires through on my 98.
Keep the em coming! Thanks for sharing the info and pics! Seems everyone is sold out of the Yaffee 12's BUT, I'm looking at ALL the other choices!

I have tried many apes and the Yaffe Monkey Bagger Bars are ****. 12" is a good size and you won't have to mess with brake lines or clutch cable. If you don't have patience, pay someone to put them on for you. The internal wiring was a pain in the ***. Here's a pic, I just got them on the other day.

Yes, I was going to have it painted arctic white but I am now digging the pearl. I've done most of the powder coating already. I'm waiting for the front wheel before I do the rocker and pushrod covers, a few other pieces and the forks. Loving the look.
