We are ridingriding from Spring Lake Michigan to London Canada, nigera falls then to Maine. Does anyone have any great routes? We have ten days

 

Take rt. 1 and follow it you will not be sorry .Have a safe and fun trip in Maine.

 

Did this in June with the only difference being we departed from the U.P. We crossed back into the States at Ogensburg, NY then took 37 to 11 and then to 2 until we hit the Atlantic. While in the White Mtn area hit 16, 302 and/or 112 (Kancamagus Hwy). Once on the coast Hwy 1 north or south has lots of roadside shacks to take in the fresh eats from the sea, Red's, Claws, Shaw's and many more. If heading south look into Bentley's as a stop.

 

Also if you're heading East from Buffalo I would look into a route other than 90 (NY Thruway). This has to be the roughest toll road I've ever been on, 104 to 37/11 maybe.

 

Don't take I-94 through Detroit ... Cross at Port Huron ... Up through Canada to the Thousand Island Bridge across the St Lawrence ... Across New York, New Hampshire and Vermont and into Maine and the coast. Great ride and lots of "old history" in the northeast
