From Rochester too. Irondequoit actually. I saw someone mention Letchworth in this thread. Gorgeous place! If you have an opportunity to go, do yourself a favor and make the ride. You won't regret it

Whitney Point here. New York takes a lot of heat because of how liberal it is and the taxes which is a shame because like stated before once you get upstate it's some of the nicest country you'll ever see.

How about Sodus Bay (or Sodus Point)? years ago my father and I would go there for a weekend fishing trip on Lake Ontario. I remember that being sort of a cool party town. (again long time ago) always wonder what that town is like now.

^^Sodus Point is still a nice spot to cruise around and party up in the summer. However, this year wasn’t as packed as usual since they were dealing with the flooding issues that plague most of the business and homes along the Ontario shoreline.

Yeah. Pretty bad this year that's for sure. Still managed to hit Captain Jack's quite a few times though

Love me some Cape Vincent. We're up there at least 2 weekends a year. Stay at Tibbett lighthouse. Usually drink too much at Aubrey's too
