I agree with TWINCAM96 great place and the Adirondack Hotel has a nice resturant and view of the byplane over at the lake across the street. I would also consider staying at Mirror Lake Inn in Lake Placid just for all the resturants in the town.

Born and raised in Utica. Spent summers working in the Adirondacks in my teens. Had a bike while there, awesome riding. Worked at the brewery (Matt’s/ Saranac) for a couple of summers while in school. Then, Ohio, Texas, Wisconsin and finally Mass for the last 20 years. Still get back to Utica to see family a few times a year and always make it a point to take a trip up to the old forge area while I’m there.
