Can't say enough good things about Dave at Orange and Black in Watertown. Just got new rear tire. Done in an hour. At a good price. Neat , clean, and did a safety inspection. I have been going there for several years, never been disappointed.

anyways, derby cafe has pappy's run remembrance .rte 32 in monteville ct. near mohegan sun. but closer to 163 and 32....not hard too find.

 

Doc's is a joke. My buddy insists on going there. They always F'k something up and he has to go back a second time to get the fix, fixed. The runs in Connecticut have become an event for a bunch of want to be's to endanger the rest of us. I stay away.

 

not a run! brown derby is a meet and remember gtg for Pappy and his efforts for repealing the ct helmet law, albeit posthumously.
He petitioned the supreme court and won , but died before it became reality. (heart attack arguing with the po-po about the helmet issue....ya just can't make this stuff up.

Today is one of the nicest days of the summer so far. Text my riding buddy to go Ride. He texted me back and said that even though it is a nice day, he is taking his ex-wife to church then going home to set up his telescopes because tonight is going to be one of the best nights for night viewing. WAIT what. WTF. Time to turn in the man card.

 

least you can still ride, I'm sick as a dog.........guess I know what I can do tonight.......best day of the goddamn year!! I must be cursed.
