C'mon, yesterday was a great day for a ride. I had mine out....no salt on the roads at all. Plenty of other bikes out there, too. Also took my 911 for a ride....to the carwash... never got to get it cleaned and stored before the crap weather came in.

Bought mine 2 years ago...a 2000 C2 convertible with 25k miles on it. I was going to buy a new RoadGlide Ultra to replace my Road King, but, in the end decided to look for a convertible for a number of reasons (my main riding buddy gave up riding so I was doing less, my wife doesn't like to take too many long trips on the bike, still get an open air feeling in one, etc). Looked around at a bunch of stuff, Z4 was just too cramped for me, but I loved it. Didn't want a Boxster, 911 was a good fit. Realized I could get a 911 for a lot less than a Road Glide Ultra, lol, if I was willing to go with a 996 series. So, kept the RK and added the 911....

CRAAAAZY deals on the 996s right now! I was actually trying to get a 997, and still may but not for a couple years. So much fun, and nothing beats the rear drive sound/feel Ride/drive safe!
