I'm about 200 miles or a little less, east of Erie, and I've never been to Presque Isle. Is it a nice ride around the island or too much slow traffic to enjoy it? Worth a trip over sometime?
Go in the morning and bring some sandals n shorts. Later you go the more people.....the more cars......more traffic. Definitely worth checking out on a nice sunny dY
Thanks for the info. Probably won't go if it's constant stopping & starting for the entire 13 miles, or whatever it is.
Traffic isn’t terrible but if you want to be able to cruise it and take in the view etc it’s better to go early when there’s less people/cars. Been there quite a few times and never encountered bumper 2 bumper traffic
Follow-Up I was working in Erie a few weeks ago, and drove it in the car. Glad I did that. Not worth going back on 2 wheels. It's just OK over there, IMO.
