The tranny drain plug is a torx head screw that is below the transmission end cover, with the head facing out (toward you) instead of down (toward the ground). I hope that helps.

My tranny drain plug is underneath the bike, in between the two shocks. It's kind of hard to see or reach. At least on my '02 FXSTB, don't know much about evo. Just changed the tranny fluid last night. Peace of mind.

The plug should be about where the arrow is pointing. Chances are your pipes will be blocking your view.
