Whats a para-synthetic base stock ?

OK, found it:

Synthetic oils are perhaps the least understood of all the base oils currently in use. In the lubricant market today, there is no absolute definition of the word “synthetic”. In Europe and the U.S., hydroisomerized base oils (hydo-treated) are being sold and marketed as “synthetic”. Many engineers and chemists would argue that these base oils are not a true synthetic. For them, the definition of a “synthetic” would be a molecule built from simpler substances to give the precise properties required. The most widely used “synthetic” base oils are the polyalphaolefins (PAO’s). There are others available which include the synthesized esters, but in general are expensive and have limited availability.
In other words, this is Dino oil. Nothing wrong with that so long as you're not paying Synthetic prices.

I've been using Schaeffers in all my vehicles for years not just my bikes. There's nothing better.

Schaeffer Oil. We often go to Talledaga to watch NASCAR and a large portion of the cars run Schaeffers Products. Its a bit more pricey than AMSOIL with 20w-50 @ $12.00 a quart, primary case @ $12.00 a quart and transmission @ $20.00 quart.
Just got off the phone with a dealer and the Schaeffer tech rep happened to be there. He said he would guarantee that using these products in a Harley will put a smile on your face. LOL Anyway he said he will give me my money back of I am not satisfied. There products are Harley Specific.....and full synthetic. Look up the specs on the web.
