Scavenger oil change system.

Dave, there are some members who use such things, but in over 50 years of riding I've got by just fine with draining the old oil as per the manual! Our bikes don't need kid gloves to service them......

grbrown, thanks for the reply. I'll stick with the standard oil change procedure. I have a never used scavenger. Probably will eventually put it up for sale.

I've never seen the purpose of it. I mean I understand the concept, just that I don't quite buy the justification. If one had a real concern for how much "dirty" oil is left, then do a short change once and you should be good. I rarely, if ever, let my oil go 5000mi anyway. More like 5000km.
