it wasn’t that long ago SYN 3 labeling called it “ SYNTHETIC BLEND”. Your right, it seems deceptive marketing with the recent packaging change.

Looks like everybody is right when talking about Syn3 oil. Dealer said yes, it was a synthetic blend Syn3 when it was first introduced on the market. But after a while Harley had the Syn3 package up graded to a full synthetic. Should be a new MSDS sheet showing the detailed up grade spec's.

There are people out there that still believe that Synthetic oil causes skate. Harley had to get those to change by first labeling Simi synthetic. As the market started to come around it call for a new label for full conversion Synthetic. Note: only the label has changed not the oil itself. Also there are still people out there that still believes Synthetic oil causes skate.

Well the bearings instead of rolling ,skid sometimes HD said ,I think it's marketing BS myself to keep folks buying HD oils.
