Oil pressure spring?
Was testing cam plate pop off today & TMM pulls a spring out of his box that I'm thinking of using. It's yellow and he thought it was a baisley but didn't know which one. Does anyone know of a yellow spring used on twin cam. Has anyone done air pressure test on these plates?
Air
SE 40psi
SE w/top hat 80psi
Baisley? 60psi
Target
Oil 40 psi hot , 16 idle
Air

Phil at TMM pulled a spring out of early twin cam plate that had a pop off pressure of 50psi today, so will try that in my set up

Well a update had less oil pressure than before. So ordered the baisley spring and am very happy with it. 45- 50 psi at speed. I would install this spring any any cam chest I open up.
PS the one I ordered not yellow, just plain.
