oil ID

i want to change oil in my 2012 ultra limited. how do I know what is in it now? Synthetic or SAE?

Synthetic tastes like maple syrup. Dino tastes more like oil should.

Your owner's manual will tell what oil HD put in it from the factory. HD 360 mineral or SYN3 synthetic.
Only the person who changed it last could tell you what is in it now
