Why teh change to M1? Why not run the quicksilver all year round?

Mostly this year because I still have some. Thinking M1 will be better for cold weather starting.

Rather than bragging about price , why not post the specs on it?
How does it compare to others?

I've run Quicksilver synthetic in my last 2 bikes with no issues. My main concern before I tried it was to find out who was actually making this oil. It's manufactured by Mercury Marine and they have plenty of experience in the manufacture of lubricants that are used in applications that would be considered "rough duty".

I was. I have also made plenty of short and long rides, Engine was quite and smooth, that is the confusing part it actually felt smoother. I did also do a primary change with the same oil but stayed with Redline severe in the transmission.
where are you located in AZ? live in Gilbert work in Scottsdale and sitting in traffic in a hundred and five degrees with bel-ray conventional 20w50 in my Ultra Classic has been a bit unnerving the last couple of days with the eitms kicking in, I'm thinking of switching to Quicksilver as well.

It's oil, it's all the same except for the marketing that makes one brand more expensive than the other.
They all meet the same specs which by the way Mobile, Quicksilver and all the others do not.
Your your manual states to use an HDEO diesel oil.
Again it doesn't matter what oil you use but I trust the engineer's who designed the engine more then words in a forum.
I use Mystik JT8

Huh?
Umm...sure they meet them and why they suggest you use diesel rated heavy duty engine oil if you don't use their oil.

I am in Surprise, Thought I would be going to Thunder Valley but not this year. But on the Third Saturday you can always find me at Buddy Stubbs Anthem chowing down on a hot Dog.
