My bikes are kept in a heated garage in the winter, so storage in the cold is not a factor. I change my oil, Mobil One motorcyle oil, according to mileage.

You are supposed to read the lab test reports.
No opinions wanted.

As I said, the oil will have less than 1200 miles on it, and looks like it just came out of the bottle, but it WILL be almost two years old by this time next year. I'm leaning towards just letting it go another season. Thanks, one and all.
Oil in our multi-million dollar helicopters is not changed ever due to calendar time, it is changed based on amount of use, or by condition thru sampling. If it keeps me in the air, it will keep your bike plenty safe.

If you have a turbine (which I am sure you do ) you have vegetable oil in it right?
5606 or something ?
What do you have for a helicopter?
They are my drug of choice.
All I can afford is a UH12C

We typically use MIL-23699 in our engines and gearboxes, certain gearboxes use a heavier weight oil. 5606 and 83282 are hydraulic fluids used in the flight controls, dampers and struts.
I don't own anything but Harley's , but Uncle Sam lets me play with lots of stuff.

What is it?
UH 60?
I understand the Uncle Sam part.
A big turbine, if it could be afforded, has an appetite that could not.

PM me your cell and if you want a couple pix of old school I will send them.
The Huey(s) I had were compliment of the Army, a LONG time ago

UH-1's in the past, UH-60's usually, Mi-17's at the moment.
