Default Maxima V twin

I’m curious what people think about the maxima 3 hole oil change kit. Not really much info regarding performance reviews other than what is posted by maxima them selves. Has anyone used these products. How do you feel about it.

Maxima is decent oil, but not at the top of my list. Check out this Spectro 3 hole change kit. This is what I use for my bike. https://cycleoildirect.com/shop/page/2/

So, it's kinda funny that this thread popped up. I'm in the middle of testing Maxima oil in all 3 holes at this very moment. A machinist buddy of mine down in town SWEARS by the stuff and says he's done a lot of research on it. He gave me all the bottles I needed to do a 3 hole, (plus a few extra motor oil cause my tired old bike drinks some before the next change). Told me to pay for it only if I like it. I have to admit, TO ME......... my 14 SGS with 135,000 miles on it, sounds quieter in the top end, (even with 3,000 miles into the test, fresh oil ALWAYS sound quieter), but only quieter at idle. While riding, it sounds the same as the Mobil 1 V-Twin I've run in all my bikes for ever. No real huge difference in the tranny really, and MAYBE a little smoother shifting and neutral finding with the oil in the primary. Jury's still out on all that. I paid the man for all of it, ( I would have even if I didn't like it, lol), but at that price.............. I don't know what the pay off really is, FOR ME.

Anybody else running it in a TC or M8?

Yeah, I did a 3-hole oil change in October using the Maxima Racing 90-119016PB Twin Cam Synthetic 20W-50 Black Filter Complete Oil Change Kit off of Amazon.

Normally I fork out for the Redline Power Pack kit, but didn't feel like paying $150, so went with Maxima. So far, so good. Shifts smoother and runs quieter.

Not sure what oil the Dealership had in there when I bought the bike in Jan 2023, but this was definitely an improvement.

Will see what the oil looks like when I change it next year.
