so you liked the spectro 25w-60? I was considering that next summer here in AZ. Currently running bel ray 20w-50 mineral oil.

I've used it before with no engine explosion or loss of life... so, it was a success. My personal opinion, worth exactly what you paid for it, is the stuff below is probably just as good as the high dollar stuff.

No...no it isn't. Not even in the same ballpark. Additives are everything. Stuff like this barely meets the minimum requirement. Look up "bobs the oil guy" on the web and do some research.

Thanks, but I'm familiar with, "bob IS the oil guy". I see lot's of people very pleased with UOA's from that cheap oil on that site. Maybe you should go grab some of that, "Barely meets minimum requirements" info and bring it here for us.

There are articles galore to be found on the web regarding this subject. I'm not going to do your work for you. I don't care what you want to use, and I've nothing to prove. Enjoy your day.

I did, but as I mentioned, the Kendall is working just as well for less money.

Normal engine noise is reduced when using conventional vs synthetic, and the change intervals are still the same: 5K miles. Cheaper, too.

Spectro is all I run in my bikes. I've met their president (grandson of the founder) and they are still a privately held company that actually cares about their customers, and they make a great product.
