Default have an oil leak

ve an 07 strret glide and have been noticing oil drops on the ground after riding. It is coming from the front of the bike but i cant pinpoint it due to the oil trickiling down and taking diferent paths. I dont think its the oilf filter and was wondering if there is any common spots that the bikes are notorious for leaks near the front?

Which side up front? Could be coming from air cleaner.

Default Oil leak near front of bike.

You might want to check for leaks around the front rocker box. I recently had to replace the gaskets on my 95 softail.

Wow.
You’ve been a member for over 6 ½ years and this is your first post?

You are going to have to clean the entire area, go for a ride, park it, then try and track it down, maybe using something like baby powder ( there are other things to use, been discussed extensively during your tenure.)

As far as common, the only thing that comes to mind is, especially given the age of the bike: wire from stator to the voltage regulator where it comes out of the primary.

Wink

As IKnowNot points out above, start by thoroughly cleaning your bike, to get rid of all current traces of oil. We haven't much hope of finding the source of the problem until we have a clean sheet, so to speak! Once it is hot oil can travel far and wide, misleading us as to just where it started from, so don't ride very far on that trial ride.
