Re "updates", anything that maybe a known fault or glitch that the factory have decided needs remedying, but perhaps does not warrant a factory recall.

 

 

Let them do the service, take in your own oils for them to use. Get bent over enough for the labor rate, don't over pay for citgo, errr HD oil

 

If you are willing and able to do the service, there is no advantage to paying several hundred dollars for it.

Do not remove the case plug (the one that can only be removed with an allen wrench).
