No Walmart........bummer....but....on the other hand my local Walmart has the 15w 50 5qt. jug on sale right now for $22.88!

 

I've gotten the rebate in the past using a Wal-Mart receipt ... can't see why it wouldn't again

 

I bought a 5qt jug of Mobil1 0W-20 synthethic Advanced Fuel Economy @ $28.99 for my truck in local Advance Auto Parts store. Didn't see 20W-50 V-Twin synthetic 5qt on shelf.

 

My Wal-Mart moved all the Motorcycle oil to a different part of the store away from the car oil, even away from the motorcycle isle. They do things that just sometime does not make any sense.

 

I have only seen it by qt. I looked online and they do not show it in a 5qt container.

 

The list of retailers on the Mobil1 site is a list of SOME participating retailers and is NOT a list of all the retailers. Walmart is a Mobil1 retailer as is Advance, AZ, Oriellys and Napa. I’ve gotten Mobil1 rebates back when buying at all of those stores. The only place you cannot buy from is listed as Amazon. The rebate is no good if the oil is purchased online through Amazon.

 

it makes since to them because now we have to walk around and search for the item and they hope we impulse buy something while looking. marketing schemes. gotta love it.

 

Here’s a tip......

Go on eBay and look for the Mobile 1 oil. One of the main sellers is PepBoys. They list their oil prices usually a dollar or 2 cheaper than Advanced Auto and Walmart. Usually once a week they have a sale and knock another $1.50 or so off their regular price!!! I got 4 quarts for less than $30 with FREE shipping

 

The Mobil rebate for the last few years at least has been a twice a year thing. Limit two per household each time and I have never had a problem with using a Walmart receipt submitted to the on line site. One time I submitted something incorrectly and they emailed me to tell me that I needed to resubmit.

 

Agree. Just received my $12 rebate check from my Mobil oil purchase at Walmart.
