What's everyone using for primary oil ,it has been changed before by motor builder as I now am pushing 115 hp, but I have no clue what they used?

 

Have you tried calling them and asking?

 

yes ,but I couldn't remember all his ideas ,and one was ATF which I thought there might be a better lub for it.

 

I use amsoil mix of ATF & primary, best of both. Primary oil for wear & ATF for shifting. Been running this combo for about 20,000 miles or more. Still on stock clutch of a 127,000 miles.

 

Been using a 50/50 mix of Type-F, and regular synthetic Amsoil Dextron/Mercon type. So far it's better than almost everything else I have tried. About to try the new Motul primary/chaincase oil. Will do this in the next couple of weeks as time to ride is almost here ... finally. I will post back with my opinions.
