I removed the trans cover, cam cover and primary covers to get powder coated. I plan on refilling with hd syn3. That’s something I can use to fill everything right?

How many quarts do you think I would need of the syn3. A little fluid leaked from the trans and cam cover. And I drained the primary

You didn’t specify bike, so it could be anywhere from 4 to 8 qts.

Syn3 is called that because it is a synthetic that can be used in all 3 components: transmission, primary, and engine.

I assume you are referencing a Factory Service Manual for this project, it explains how to refill and the amounts. If you do not have a FSM, when you go to get the oil, pick one up, it will save you a tremendous amount of headaches later on this project and future projects. And yes, Syn3 can go in all three holes. Good luck with the project.
