Mixing gear oil in the transmission?

Rode from NC to NY and I’m very pleased with the HD gear oil in the transmission and primary. Buttery smooth shifting.

And all this time I thought it was basically Pepto Bismol with additives...
You may use it in your Ford
transmission, but that is what the manufacturer recommends.
