Same here, LCD went south on me as well.

Then picked this up on the forum used. Several years old with ~30,000 miles and no issues.

 

Mines been on the bike 2-1/2 years, same battery and no problems with it yet

 

I get about 2 years out of them. That’s $6.20 for the convenience. You decide if it’s worth it..

 

mine lasted about 6 years before it quit reading the oil level.

 

Bought one this past XMas w/some gift cards so paid about 1/2 price out-of-pocket. Will let you know if it lasts as long as this thread...
