Default LCD Dipstick

I got caught in a rain storm yesterday. When i got home I was blow drying my bike and noticed the chrome cap for my oil dipstick was missing. Looking into getting an LCD temp gauge dipstick and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these types of dipsticks. Are they accurate enough to spend a hundred bucks on?

I wouldn't say they're 100% accurate on the level reading but close enough and convenient. To each his own on whether it's worth the money...

Agree - I have one from HD. I think is was about $75.00. I bought it to have an easy way to watch level and keep an eye on the temp.

Been running mine since I bought the bike, works just fine for info at a glance. No replacement for regular level checks. Order it from Surdyke and save yourself a little money

Paid $125 for mine last September.. So far so good. To the OP, it's a $122.78 from Surdyke right now plus shipping unless you spend $169..

I've had mine for a couple or three years now. Haven't even had to replace the battery. Personally I like it. If mine died, I'd likely buy another.

Yeah they do break and are a tempting theft item, my bud's lasted a month before being stolen in a parking lot.
