Default Adding T fitting before oil sensor?

I'm adding a oil pressure gauge (rocker engine mount) to 2012 FLHR road king, like to keep factory oil sensor unit providing idiot light. Question: Can I add a T- fitting allowing use of both factory sensor & mechanical gauge without sacrificing accurate pressure?
