Default CASTROL Evo 4-Stroke V-Twin Motorcycle Oil

Has anyone used this Oil. I have used the 10w-40 version in my Suzuki ansd was wondering if the 20W-50 would work in the 2006 Harley. They say it is specifically desiged for bikes.

Here is the link to their site:

You can get this stuff for $3.99 a quart! I am not trying to be cheap but I have many time found superior products for less than the original. Any thought would be appreciated.

the ad says its a blend and not a true synthetic oil so it will work fine. its probably as good as anyone elses oil.

[ul][*]Synthetic blend 4–stroke motorcycle engine oil[*]SAE 20W–40, 20W–50[*]Developed specifically for V–Twin engines[*]API Service SJ, JASO MA2 [/ul]
Yes it will definitely work just fine. Use the 20w50. I would run this oil 3-4000 miles. If you are concerned send a 3500 mile sample to Blackstone Labs and they will send a used oil analysis report and tell you if you can run it loger etc. Costs $22.

Here is a response from Castrol Customer Realations:

Thank you for contacting Castrol,

Castrol always recommends following the guidelines of the original engine manufacture. With the information provided for a 2006 Harley Davidson V-Twin our lubrication guide recommends to use only Harley Davidson Packaged Oils meeting HD 360TM. Castrol Evo 4-Stroke V-Twin Motorcycle Oil does not meet the Harley Davidson specifications.
