Default Help!! Oil Drain Plug

I bent and broke all my allen wrenches and allen sockets. The plug will not budge. Any suggestions on getting it out?

I don't know if the oil plugs are the same but on my 2005 Road King Classic I used a 5/8" socket.....didn't even attempt the Allen Wrench.

They must not be the same. It is a recessed allen head.

Jeff

I hope you're not referring to the plug pictured here with the allen wrench in it. The drain you need is the one in the background here behind the one with the wrench in it. That one you are trying to remove has red locktite on it and needs to be heated up should it have to be removed like for an oil temp sending unit to be installed.

TC,

Thanks for the picture. Mine does not look like that at all. The bolt I'm talking about is on the bottom not the side.

Maybe these pics might help, the first is a view from the top where drain hose connects to plug and the second is a close up of what the plug looks like. This is on my Fatboy, not sure if it's the same as your bike. Notice it has a recessed allen with a hex head on the outside, you should be able to use either an allen key or a socket. Hope this helps.
