Default O-Ring for Oil Plug

Anyone know the O-Ring size for the oil plug?
Need a O-Ring number if possible?
Is it Viton or Nitrile Rubber?

I learned many years ago that there are so many different sizes of the darned things it is easier to get the correct one. Call in at your local dealer or an indy, they will have a box full!

Based on those measurements the size is a 2-013. Viton orings are used for applications where heat is a concern and are brown in color. Any local hydraulic shop should have them for about $0.20 a piece.

Number 013 is what I was looking for. Viton is the way to go as they are more checmical resistant and heat resistant. I buy O-rings from Fastenal as they are only about 20 - 25 cents eah per one or about $3 per bag of 50. I buy orings for my Remington 1100 that way andgive them away at sporting clay shoots. People think you gave them a $5 bill which is what they cost from Remington.

My dealer hands them out with filters, or oil. I buy enough oil for all three boxes and filter they hand me three o-rings. Bet your dealer would too.
