Everywhere I turn I hear people saying that synthetic makes their top end sound like a bag of marbles. I just had my first service on my SGS, and upgraded to synthetic knowing this risk. Well, to my surprise, when I got the bike back the valve noise was actually quieter than before! So far I couldn't be happier.

Anyone experience this?
