I can see why it wouldn't run with diesel in it, but can't see why that would have any effect on oil pressure. When it does run, does it run normal beside the gauge giving strange readings?.,,

I dont see how the fuel could effect the oil pressure.

Check your oil level and see if making oil. Diesel will pass rings in a gas motor and go into crankcase.

A few years ago we had a motorcyclist coast into our driveway at the office.

It seems she filled her tank, approx 3 gallons worth, of diesel at the gas station 1 mile down the road.

She was on her way, with another biker to Nova Scotia, they were from Virginia, we are in Connecticut and we heading out on vacation.

I sure you don't want to hear about the proceedure it took to get the bike running again, yes it did smoke a lot when the engine was running on "blended" fuel for a minute or so, but they went on the merry way and never looked back.

I always wondered how the rest of the trip went, and 2 or so weeks later a package showed up with 10 pounds of Va. peanuts.

They had no problems with the balance of the trip.

So, my advice, don't worry and if you have to change the oil.

Go to Walmart and get some Delvac or Rotella 15w40 ($10 a gallon)and a cheap oil filter that fits. Flush the engine with the 15w40 and cheap filter for 100 miles. Then do a normal oil change with 20w50 & HD filter. Buy a bottle of chevron techron and run 4oz to each tank of gas until the bottle is gone.

That should do ya!
