Outstanding Oil Cooler

Outstanding Oil Cooler
I was worried about engine overheating. The Harley oil cooler I had installed at the dealer was ok, but the only time that cooler is working is while you are riding and it doesn’t help cool in stop and go traffic or sitting at stop lights. I was tired of my legs burning up and worrying about the engine overheating. I wanted to find a product that really worked and to protect my investment in my Ultra Classic. When I was at my HD dealer I picked up one of those free motorcycle mags. I found an ad for a fan assisted cooler, checked out their web site and decided to get it. It was what I was looking for the Ultra Cool oil cooler. It not only works when you are riding but keeps your engine cool when your stuck in traffic or at stop lights. With out it my legs really burned up. After I installed the Ultra Cool on my Ultra I really noticed the difference, in stop and go traffic and stop lights, I know when it kicks on because I can feel my legs cooling down.
I did some temp checks, with the front Jug reading around 250 and the Thermal Switch block reading around 180 to 190 the fan would kick on, the temp on the front Jug would then range between 230 and 250, and that's with the bike running in the garage with no fans blowing on the engine. I want to get the word out to other riders that are concerned about their rides and are concerned about protecting their engines too. I have had it on my 2008 FLHTCU for over 2 yrs now I RECOMMEND this product. The people are great and have no problem helping you out if you have any type of problem or questions.
I should add that temp checks I did after riding and before changing coolers were
Runing 310 to 330 degrees.

been running one for several months now in south texas...big improvement over no oil cooler. having never had an oil cooler before, i still think it has got to be better than an oil cooler with no fan.
