Default Location of Oil Drain Plug 2011 FXDWG

I just broke in my FXDWG I want to change the oil. I can't find the right plug. I don't want to drain the tranny just yet and I don't want to crack the cases. So where exactly is the drain plug on the 2011? Also I can't find a service manual for it yet.

Its on the left side rear of your oil pan under the transmission. Its the plug on the side. The one on the bottom is the trans.

It may be hard to see because of the rubber bumpers on the underside of the frame. It's there and it's not facing down rather sideways instead, the only drain plug that is not pointing down. It's the same size as the other 2 drains which face down of course.

Is it facing primary side or exhaust side? Does it have an Allen hole in the middle?

Primary side. If you see the hole I think you see....that's not an allen key hole.
You found the drain plug for motor oil. 7/8's I think.

Default read your owners manual

Your owners manual tells you all this.

I never checked the manual. With the big push for dealership service only and no more DIY I didn't think that there would be any useful information in there beside how to work the computer. I guess I should .
