Default Wtf?!

I just helped a buddy do his first oil change (2010 StreetBob)... and I swear, the factory oil filter must've been installed with an impact driver! I/we have never seen
one on THAT tight! It was ridiculous! We had a ratchet driven jaw-type wrench and ended up crushing the filter before it came loose. ...has anybody else experienced this?

All is good and he rode home ...just had to vent...lol

The HD metal cup socket that you attach to a ratchet seems to work the best. Also it has the indent to clear the CPS.

This usually caused by not lubing the o-ring seal properly,,rookie errors.....wonder who changed your oil, not the dept head wrench........

My factory filter was super tight as well. Automated machine installs it.
